Carrie

Hi,

My name is Carrie .  I’m a Candidate for ordination with the UCC and a student at St. Andrew’s College in Saskatoon. I’ve completed the first two years of an MDiv, and am working on the residency requirement by serving First United Church in Hanna, Alberta. I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this community, and I look forward to working ecumenically with other organizations. 

An accident on the 401 enabled me to experience Creator’s presence, and it changed everything I understood about God. I felt an overwhelming sensation of being loved; it put me into a state of awe. I later regretted not saying hello, but I’m sure God understood.  This experience greatly influences my ministry. I feel called to preach God’s loving mercy as revealed in Scripture. I'm driven to help others discover God's love for themselves.
