Dear Congregation of Hanna First United Church,
 
We started the conversation regarding the future of Hanna First United at our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, March 1st.  We had great attendance and lots of interesting conversations.  We have attached the notes and financial projections that were given to the congregation at the beginning of this meeting.
 
This is a very important decision so we will be having the following meetings for further discussion:
 
Sunday, March 15th after the church service (11:30) - Ministry Planning Meeting. The region has asked us to do a Ministry Plan to help guide us in this journey. We need to discuss what is the ministry of our church and how we see ourselves continuing as a congregation moving forward. We have attached the Ministry Planning Form and Guide.
 
Sunday, March 29th after the church service (11:30) - Discussion / Information Session with Rev. Dr. Karen Medland - Pastoral Relations with Chinooks Wind Region. Bring any questions and concerns you may have.
 

We would like as many congregation members involved in the next meeting  - this is where we will vote on what direction we will be taking regarding the future of the church. Rev. Dr. Karen Medland will be attending in person for the Region the meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at 5:30 at the church.
